Daily Deviation, 2007-12-06

Daily DeviationIn the spirit of the multinational Surrealism movement of the late 20s to...some might say the present, 450-Acid-Aqueduct by *Bodhisattva-Psyche displays the angular and processing techniques that are a trademark of surreal photography. The structure is made unique and nightmarish by the emphasis of its scale, towering over the viewer in a disorienting display of its tacit power. Simultaneously vibrant and dark, this image is impressive on multiple levels. (Featured by ^opioid)

Another great one! I much prefer this one though. i think it's because the main point of focus is in the centre of the image. Great colours on this one too. Did you use a colorus filter or did you just post process it on photoshop or something? Great job burning in and using gradients to create vignetting (sp?) I would be tempted to burn in the bright white part though, just to round it all off. And maybe dodge the bridge a bit to make it stand out more? Great piece though, keep it up :D

actually, the bridge doesnt really need dodging, what am I talking about...?

"la vita nova" is the new chance to me given by hermetic wings...and now hermetic sources is on...
Postprocessing only for the colours and the vignetting :slow:

I try not to manipulate anything that is not in the picture already. Just bring out a vision of the moment...and this was psyche[delic] time haha lol!

Also I tried to keep the detailing as muchs as possible. little but visible shades on the brick, darks and midtones as well.

As a note, in the third arch you can see my mom sitting it gives an idea of the size :omg:

And last but not least, thank you kindly for you thoughtful comment m8 :thanks:
